  1. If one is a golfer, any tournament deserves some attention with or without Tiger Woods. He plays in less than half of the televised events,  and when he does, the gate take is larger. Every one likes a winner, especially in America. So Tiger is the focal point. Then the media has forgotten that there half the starting field which is still playing which they would never follow unless something sensational was happening. Blame the media for discrimination as well as the public which accepts what it is given.

  2. no, but i think your question really should be just the first four words of your question.

  3. I PREFER WATCHING THE LADIES,MAN HE IS ONE BAD PLAYER.THE GIRLS are better from a hundred and thirty yards.I will tell you this he hogs too much attention,Tiger this,Tiger that,i just can not wait until its back to watching him lose in the ryder cup

  4. h**l yes.  Am so loving The Open right now.  Looks like a right stinker to play.  Have backed Mike 'Mr Steady' Weir but also fluffed it with Romero.

    Great stuff.

  5. Question to Monty:

"If you win the open will it be slightly devalued by the fact that Tiger's not here?"

Monty - "Why, has tiger won it every year that he entered?"

There lie's your answer, who's to say that he wouldn't have finished terrible like he has done on 7 previous occassions.

The guy is a wonderful player, but at the british open Harrington is the best player because he is the title holder.

  6. Of course it is worth watching, unless you don't want to watch anybody but Tiger.

It is like with any other sport - (if the worlds number 1 footballer, or basketball player, or tennis player etc etc etc wasn't playing in a game/match does that make the sport not worth watching?

Take a football World Cup Final with any two teams and one of the teams has the worlds best player but he is injured.....Does it make it not worth watching?

  7. Their are some really neat individuals out there, I just wish the networks wouldn't jump ship every round or tournament and let us get to see a few more week to week. If they kept an eye on Rocco even when he wasn't having a great round it would be interesting.
