  1. Chomage mec ... chomage ...

  2. In france you can find a job even if you are a stranger. It's depend what kind of job you want. I'm a french student in civil engineering and their is a big lack for this profession. Not only the site workers. French search some technician engineer...

Some other works need people. If you are a doctor a medical assistant or a computer speciallist..... But taht's true than there is a high rate of unemployment.

For a nice place you have to come in the south of France. If you like skiing (cold weather in the winter and very hot weather during the summer) you may come in Grenoble. But all the big city in France are really expensive and near the Mediterranean sea the price are really expensive.

  3. First it is very hard to find a job in France. Even a PHD will not guarantee you a job.

Second of all you are Indian, that is another road block. I am black , once I applied for a job as a waiter in a 5 stars hotel , th manager himself told me "we don't take *******"

If you have some education in technology and speak English you might have a chance

Otherwise the cost of living is very high, the weather not to bad it gets down to -5 or -10 during the winter but it never lasts, the winter in France is not very harsh, it rarely snows

  4. At the moment, the situation in France isn't comfortable.

Life is expensive and to have a job isn't enough because it's low paid.

But, perhaps you can be lucky.

  5. No France is not a good place to work for a strangers. Especially nowadays. First, there is a lot of unemployement. Second, the employers won't hire a strangers.

Third, it's difficult to get a visa.

Fourth, the cost of living is very high and is getting higher, even the french people are afraid and complaining they can't buy even pasta or fish (yes, that was on the news)...

So NO don't go to France.

  6. you speak english, so there will be jobs for you.....

  7. There is a high rate of unemployment. Unless you speak the language, you have no chance in finding a job. As for the climate, if you go south, it is nice and warm, if you go north, it is cold and rainy.

    Good luck.
