  1. Gordon brown's kid is a toddler so its pointless sending him out there he can barely walk let alone hold a big gun

any body in the British army joined of their own free will there is no draft they CHOOSE  to sign up

war is a risky business you might die. if you cannot bare to take that risk get a different job stack shelves, be an accountant or what ever.

soliders die cos they made a risky life choice

As long as the people who kinda wanna go kill other people are going to go kill other people who kinda wanna go kill other people, you're killing all the right people

    just don't have a draft

  2. Labour voters family get killed in wars as well you know. You can't blame it on Labour voters that your cousin volunteered to join up.

  3. I'm very sorry to hear about the death of your cousin my Sincere condolence's go to you and all of his family and friends.

i know you must feel angry about his loss but he died doing what he chose to do, when you join the army or any military force you have to accept that you might have to go to war.

when you join up you don't get to pic what wars you will fight that's the way of a soldier.

    all my best..xx

  4. Gordon Brown's son is about 2 years old.

  5. you bet ye

  6. his son is about 2 or 3 years old and is disabled in some way. it might be cystic fibrosis but im not sure,  so no he wont be going to iraq. gordon brown  has got two sons. the older one is fine but  i think he wont  be going to iraq.

i dont vote labour and  i am so sorry about your cousin.this should not be happening and i can understand how unhappy you must be. maybe tony blairs son should go to iraq? but i wouldnt wish that on anyone.

  7. He's not old enough and is disabled so no, he won't be going.  Even if he was of age and in good health, it would be his decision.  He should not have to do anything just because his father is PM.  The son has a right to his own life and to make his own choices.  After all, isn't it bad enough that the poor kid probably has the most embarrasing father in England?

  8. No he is too young, but Gordon is going.... on a visit... He was asked if he would like to stay... but he declined.. So sorry to hear about your cousin, and all the other lads that have lost their lives. It is a War we never should be involved in, as these Eastern Countries have nothing else better to do only start wars. If their next door neighbour treads on a blade of grass which is not theirs they get their guns out. I am sick of our lads always going over there and some of them never come back. Its an outrage and it is time it was stopped. Our Armies are for us, not these damned hotheads that have no brains.

  9. he would be a bit young don't you think. I am sorry to hear of your loss, and i never voted labour in my life.

Blair took us into a war that was deemed necessary, it wasn't any sane person could see that, and they must have known that all along  so the blood of our soldiers are on their hands.

  10. Well Tony's havent and they r a bit older!

  11. He is only about five years of age so I doubt it.

Whether people vote for labour or not does not influence people to join the armed forces.

The war has been going on for several years so it is not really a surprise to servicemen and women that they may be visiting a war zone during their service.

My brother served in NI and as a family we were not happy about that. My other brother went to the Falklands - a war about a few rocks in the South atlantic that no one had ever heard of.

War is awful and I feel sorry for your loss but service personnel know the risks and enlist of their own free will.

As for voting labour - what happened in my voting past may well not be repeated in my voting future. However it will not be the war that influences my decision - we have had more than one election since the war started.
