The pendulum swings both directions from too much to not enough.

We need government to deal with things that are beyond an individuals control.  It is obvious that insufficient money has been spent on levies in New Orleans.

There are indeed many areas that I believe have had too much money spent on them.  After the upcoming presidential election the priorities of the federal government will change and we will spend money on different things.

Somehow, it seems to get worse and worse, year after year.  There is an extremely high level of irresponsibility on the part of our elected officials who should be doing a better job managing tax dollars.
