Is grade 7, 8 and 9 just all about how you look..?

Not so detailed question but... I guess you start to think more about how you look at this age. Before, many kids didn't care. Now, it is about who has what and who kissed who.... But...

It is also a time where you need to study more and think more about your grades instead of being distracted about nonsense that won't matter when you are older and don't have a good job.
