Is granite living?

Nope, granite is not living and has never been living. It is, however, frequently used to mark the resting spot of humans who are no longer living.

A registered professional geologist, me, says granite is not alive. Never was, never will be.

Granite is an igneous (magma) intrusive rock that has cooled over a long period of time that allowed crystals to form. It can be gray to shades of pink.

Granite is metamorphic rock everything that lives changes. When it was molten lava it even moved and breathed.
