  1. No, they have entirely different benefits. Grapeseed is primarily good as an antioxidant, but Grapeseed Oil is primarily used for cooking and has a lot of vitamin E naturally occurring in it. Grapeseed Oil doesn't have sufficient Omega 3 fatty acids, but it does have high contents of Omega 6 fatty acids.


  2. Other answer was a good one. Grapeseed and grapeseed extract are known for bioflavanoids, antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. Grapeseed oil has long been used for natural cosmetics and has recently come to light for it's high vitamin E content. It is a healthy oil for cooking and lighter in taste than olive oil. I use it on rare occasions when I want to make a white cake or biscuits.
