Is grass a annual, a biennial, or perennial?

Ordinary grass that grows on lawns, which one is it? And explain. I am very curious for the answer.

  1. perennial=permanent.


  2. Perennial. Perennial means it will grow back from year to year.  Over the winter the roots stay alive and produce new shoots and leaves the following year.

    Annual means the plant dies within one year, biennial means the plant lives two years.
