No, It is not because of heredity. It is due to the pigments. Like white people have white hair from birth. Its just b'coz of pigments. And never try and cut them or avoid them. Just accept what is there with you.

yes i believe so. my sister developed some gray hair at the age of 9. my mom says it's the bad blood that runs in my dad's family. everyone on my dad's side starts receiving gray hair at an early age. my dad's hair was completely gray at the age of 40. its kind of like richard gere

YES, and also due to hormone production.  Whats great is you can embrace it or you can simply color your hair.  You should google "DHT" production.  I know its directly related to hair loss and grey hair.

i kinda kno from experience

my mother always told me that as an islander

we tend to grow out our gray hair early due to it from heredity

but i just asked my dad, and he said it comes from being over stressed

now i guess you can say i have a medium amount of gray hair

but to tell you the truth, im not stressed at all

actually im pretty much in a good mood right  now

so gray hairs at an early age could come from it "running into the family", in other words it can come from genes

at my school last year, a kid from Guam came as a  new student, he also had gray hair

but when i asked him how he got it he sad it only appears alot when hes stressed
