  1. yeah i love grewat yarmouth....its great for kids and thiers loads of entertainment!

  2. I don't know wether dudes would like it - it's a typical seaside town, with chip stalls, donuts and lots of amusements - the children love it, the grannies and the basic dudes that like all that. Of course, I love chips on the market, eating at one of those Greek places on the front and taking the kids on the snails -

    But would You?

  3. I've visited there twice and thought it was really nice. There's some lovely areas to visit within a 30minute or so drive. It has a fair, so there's something for young children and young teenagers and there are also clubs for young adults. Older people also seem to like the place as I noticed many OAPs there. All in all, there seems to be something for everyone.

  4. no

  5. Yeah...went here a while ago...stopped at a place called Caister....right along the racecourse. Very flat in Great Yarmouth, so it can be windy, but otherwise, a great family resort!

  6. I used to live there and its nice for short breaks, particularly if you've got young children. There's two main funfairs in the town itself, pleasure beach and joyland. I can't remember much about joyland as its been 10 years since i last went there with younger members of the family. But last thing i remember it worked on a token system. Pleasure beach gives you a choice of tokens, or a choice of wristbands. The wristbands give you unlimited access to all the rides all day and some bands have a meal option included. I think its about 12 or 13 pound for a basic wristband now, and 16 or 17 pound for a meal wristband. If you can, pick up a copy of the mercury, as they often have money off coupons for pleasure beach. There's also a sea life centre, which has an outside display, can't miss it. If you want to go to the beach itself, visit gorleston beach. It's not as crowded, as its less known, and you can get a return from great yarmouth for about 2.50. If you want a larger theme park, visit pleasure wood hills. Most hotels can give directions, but its also well signposted on the way to lowestoft. Well worth a visit. If you're not taking kids, there are also a number of pubs and clubs in the evening. Have fun!

  7. its quite a nice place to go when the weather is good, but wouldnt travel too far to go there.  lots of entertainment for kids though, but also can be very tacky!  i went there for a weekend, and stayed on a caravan site, not my favourite kind of holiday but was ok!  Plus Pleasure Wood Hills is there so thats something to enjoy!  There are a few nice bars there also
