Good question...Here is my opinion. I do think they were better with Favre, but that's all we really have ever know. I really don't think he should be doing what has been to the NFL and Pack fans. Either retire and be done or don't. He's hurting the team I think. I think it's time for the Pack to move on and let Rodgers become the next q.b.. The pack has a great team and I don't think Favre alone makes them great. He's only one person. I say let Rodgers begin his career so they can get use to him and build an even stronger offense. Favre is only going to be around this season and maybe next then it will be back to having to build up Rodgers.

So, yes they are good with Favre, but I can't really say if they are bad without him cuz we really have never seen it.

Yes and No

Yes, b/c he was older and more fragil and if he got urt they were going down

No b/c I dont think the QB they have is as good as Farve

I think that if they want to win now Favre is the man for the job, but I think that the only way Rodgers will be good down the line is if he gets some playing time.  Favre had his chance and now it's rodgers turn to take the show.  I've lost a lot of respect for Favre thru this whole ordeal.

If Favre gets the starting job in Green Bay then the Packers should do the honorable thing and let Aaron Rodgers go to another team where he will be the starter.  They aren't doing him any good by making him wait to begin his career as a starting QB, he's already waited 3 or 4 years and Favre will want to play another 2 or 3 years so Rodgers will have wasted half of his potential career sitting and waiting for Favre to finally retire.

Well i def. think the packers are better with him becuase of his abilty to throw deep (but still not like he used to) and into tight spaces and right into the recivers hands perfectly.

but rodgers has been on the bench for what 4 years now.?

yea hes had one good game but how many has Favre had?

Honestly i dont know why the packers would even try to keep him in retirement and offer hime like 25 mill. to do so.

For this season, they will probably be better with Brett. For their long term future, they're better off if Brett is out of the picture starting right now.
