  1. All teas contain antioxidants, but the general rule is that the less processed the tea is after it is harvested, the more antioxidants in contains. The processing tends to remove and change the beneficial antioxidants.

So black (regular) tea, which is heavily processed and fermented, contains much less antioxidants than oolong tea, which contains less antioxidants than green tea.

Green tea is one of the healthiest teas available, and people who drink a lot of it have reduced instances of certain cancers, diabetes, and heart disease.

However, white tea is the least processed tea of all, and contains up to three times as much antioxidants as green tea.

  2. Actually Odong tea has more antixident than Green Tea, fact is most wetern don't know much about tea except green tea, there's hundrens of type of tea.  But green tea is most popular due to easily to grow and not a bitter tasted.  Goes to a tea house; you will learn more about it.

  4. I would read about the different teas, there are many chinese teas that can help with ailments, weight loss and more.  Green, white, Pu-erh, Oolong (also known as Wu-long), Baozhong, Wu-yi, and black tea.  Each has benefits.  This article here talks about each of them in turn (about the third paragraph).  I think this will help you learn more.

I think Oolong or Green tea is the best bet

  7. all tea has anti-oxidants, the tea leaf goes throught a fermentation process, the least processed is the white tea, followed by green, then oolong, also called wu-long, and then black, by the time it reaches the state of black tea, it has been fully fermented, the least amount of fermentation, the more anti-oxidants it has..
