I'm 15 and 5'11. In 7th grade, I was about 5'7. My dad is 5'8 and my mom is 5'5. However my mom's side is tall, so I could have inherited someone's traits. So have I already experienced a growth spurt?

  1. An inch a year and being 15 years old is just normal growth.

As for a cousin of mine, he grew 6 inches in about a month! Now that's a growth spurt!

I suppose you're experiencing growth spurts too!

    PS: Lucky you! 15 and 5'11". I'm 15 and 5'... 7".

  2. No.  Growing a large amount in a short time is a growth spurt.  One inch in one year is a short amount in a long time.

  3. No, growing 3" in 6 months is.
