  1. No, it is part of the Channel Islands which in turn are part of the United Kingdom.


  2. I believe it is.  It has its own tax laws and is run by the Baliwick of Gurnsey and not England.  It does not have a NHS.  Contact Guernsey Tourist Info Office who will confirm in writing to you or point you in right direction.  

    My parents live over there.
