Is gymnastics hard to do?

hi i want to join gymnastics does any1 no what they do the first day?oh and i cant evan do a push up and im not flexible

  1. Gymnastics is REALLY HARD! but most things don't involve much strength just flexibility and stuff. and after alot of practice you can do impressive stuff

    If you wanna try it just go for it and if you dont like it just stop :D

Gymnastics is the toughest sport in the world!  But don't worry, they won't be asking you do to triple backs or 600 pushups on your first day.  Like anything else, you'll start with the basics and move up gradually.  The harder you work, the quicker you'll progress.  And it's okay if you aren't that strong or flexible yet.  You'll get better as you go along.  Working on your flexibility and conditioning at home will help a lot!  Good luck and have fun!


  4. It depends on the class what they do the first day. It's incredibly hard. It's a mental and physical sport. To be honest with yourself, if you can't do a push up, than gymnastics is going to be hard in the start for you. Flexiblity is not that important, but definitely an asset.

    Sign up for a gymnastics beginner class.

  5. Gymnastics is physically very tough, but it does payoff because it keeps you healthy.

    On the first day, if your talking about just joining a gymnastics class, you would typically just work on the basics: cartwheels, stuff on the trampoline, etc.

    You can make your self flexible my stretching a lot and of course you will need to get stronger by working out.
