Not just the look of the script, but whether it'll be good, bad, legible or not... is it learned, genetic, or instinctive?

  1. Dear ASKER

I fear how much you are trustworthy or justfiable to have and avail an answer to your your own Quest & Angst...

But ONTOLOGICALLY, the answer goes hereby that :-

Handwriting is productive of certain elemental in-formation called as the Vibrational Energy at its Work-in-Progress, been designed by the very discreet and distinctive units of dynamic force as a source of our existence called the Beingness.

Our Beingness is but inclusive of all the Virtues, indeed the attribute attitude ; manner ; behaviour ; habit ; do & doings, act & deeds ; deed & performances, and further your quest of Handwriting and even the spirit behind the followings...

    Learning   : [ experience-genesis Neurons]

    Genetic    : [ neuro-genesis Neurons as a herediatory &/or phylogenetic (tribal)]

    Instinctive : [ mind-genesis : Id : Inherent & Innate Neurons, theory of cosmic efficacy & tithonicity].

All these Qualitatives are the genesis for the Permutation & Combination of the Tithons prevalent in the given Being, as the admixure of above said phenomenal issuances, being the Life Force Energy ruling the Orderliness by dint and ordainment of "Cosmic Efficacy and Tithonicity"

What ever the Child holds as a Sense or an Essence to avail, gather, develop, experience, practice and further apply all or any sort of his Intelligence : Intuition : Instinct,  in a process of growing from birth to death, all is but productive of the Qualitatives said above, interminably hosting their phenomenal working through the Mind-genesis, Neuro-genesis & Experience-genesis NEURONS.

So, the Handwriting is not the product of any One Phenomena, except the Qualitativity of Tithons ruling the Orderliness behind our Beingness, apart in common parlance it is but the product of many mathematical aspects and perspectives being put together as forming One calculus behind the Graphology of any given Person.

Much more can be writen... alas...! my perceptive concepts are far beyond an average savant, scientist, or so, who are victim of Objectivities, rather being the students of Omnijectivism.

    Greetings

  2. If you agree that there is hard work behind how to write alphabets then the answer is no,it is not genetic. It could depend upon the muscles of your fingers and how good is your grip over your pencil, try remembering your nursery level.

  3. no, i don't think so because everybody in the world have their own ways on holding a pen and you learn as a young child to write a certian way but that is just to get you started but then you go in your way wheither it is good or bad hand writing hope i helped

    peace love care

  4. It has no relation with your heiridity.

  5. It is 80% formative and 20% groomed. Everything in the universe, atom to human being, behave as per their physical formation. You write the way your hands are formed. Your hands are formed the way you are formed. Naturally, the genetics play major role in your physical formation. Then, you consciously practice to modify and refine the formation. The practices can make minor modifications in the formations. For example, you can bulid your muscles more stronger through exercises, or you can put on your weight by food habits etc etc. Like wise you can improve your hand writing upto some extend, but surely not entirely different. That is why your handwriting speaks of your various traits, because your mind and traits are result of your formative and trained strengths and weaknesses, which are represented by your all the body parts including your hands also.

  6. Generaly it is genetic but not compulsory as in the case of looks, face, nose, eyes, lips or forhead one can make out from which family the person is but this is not comulsory. Similar is the case with hand writing.

My fraind had similar handwritings as his father, I was in corresppondence with both, their initial happen to be same. When ever I use to get letter from them, from the envelop we were un able to make out who has written it. It was only after opening the letter with their full name we were able to know who has written it.

  7. for me it's learned though me and my father have the same ugly hand writting, i couldnt call it genetic.

  8. no never its depend only on practics.its a physical activity which is not affected with GENE.

  9. Just a question of overall personality! It can be developed, like the personality traits!

  10. Handwriting is not at all genetic. Its an acquired skill...You can have a good handwriting if you wish. But yes, handwriting depicts the state of your mind.

  11. no,handwriting is not genetic at all.both of my parents had absolutely beautyful handwriting but my handwriting is that of a 3 years old.ur handwriting depends on practice when u r kids.if u practice a lot on handwriting books as a kid u will have a much better handwriting.

  12. handwriting depends on both learning and genetic. and I think the appearance of your hand affects your writing. small hands usually write smaller and big hands write bigger. and hands with long fingers write different from the ones who have short ones.

  13. its the common question.

    its the practice u make.

if u develop a kind of writing u'ii follow it

it depends on the one who makes u learn to write

  14. I don't know answer to this, but let me explain my case.

I have a good handwriting. My style of writing alphabets like 'y','z','a' etc. is very similar to that of my father. And surprisingly my grandmother's handwriting is also similar. This may be because when I was young I used to observe their writing and try to imitate them.Or may be it is simply genetic..

    what do you think?

  15. genetic

  16. IT IS......MY SISTER CAN COPY MY MUM'S HANDWRITTING....

& VERY FEW PEOPLE IN THE WORLD HAVE A RARE GIFT THAT I HAVE,THAT IS BEING ABLE TO WRITE IN BOTH HANDS.......

THE WORLD FAMOUS ITALIAN PAINTER(I FORGOT HIS NAME),DREW ON THE CEILING WALLS FOR THE POTRAIN"THE LAST SUPPER" & MANY OTER WORLD FAMOUS POTRAITS WITH BOTH HIS HANDS.....

  17. It is learned mainly some is also genetic. There is a simple video to help people with poor handwriting improve. It is named " Anyone Can Improve Their Handwriting" with amazon.com

There are samples  of the video on youtube.

  18. Handwriting is not genetic.

    Handwriting is not learned.

    Handwriting is not instinctive.

Handwriting is a concrete reflection of a person's emotions, personality, feelings and thoughts.  If you take a class of 1st graders and teach them all how to make their letters, and lets say they make the letters "right" like they are supposed to, later on their letters will no longer all look "right" or the same.  Depending on their personalities, their emotions and subconscious thoughts and feelings, their letters will take various shapes.  At least that is what graphology--the study of handwriting interprets handwritng to be, I've read quite a bit on the subject and did some of my own "analysis" especially of my writing at different times in my life and found it to be pretty accurate (I'm one of those people whose memory just won't stop and I can remember what I felt, what was going on, etc when I wrote stuff ages ago.)

  19. no.

it is dependent upon your starting level.if u start from a good then it will always be good.

    so it is not genetical.

  20. no not at all handwriting is not genetic as you can notice that handwriting many times depend on mood, when u are interested to write,ur writing is gud at that time. Also, one more example can b given that handwriting can b improved by practice.so no role of genes on that.

  21. Handwriting is process of communication, but expression of words reflects the image of writer, all begins with you and left memories. All these qualities are only yours. So be kind always. Thank you.

  22. Good Question.

It is both.  It is genetic, the handwriting cannot be changed or taught, but the influence of genes, plays a vital role.  If you study the graphology of the family of the person, it is very easy to analyse and study the handwriting and interpret the same.

At the same time, it is quite instinctive with a touch of genetics influence.

Let it be any language, but the handwriting is not only influenced by instinct, apart from that, the environment in which the person is brought up, education, culture, civilisation, age, health, family, society, geographical location, climate, religion, feelings, thoughts, experiences etc.

Any one of the above mentioned factors may influence by various degrees, the handwriting will dance to the tune of it.

It is vast and interesting subject.

  23. no it is no genetic .

  24. I feel that one's handwriting is meant to be unique.

it is like going to the gym to get a good shapely body the more you go the better the body gets into shape. Ultimately the end result is that no two bodies of the same size or shape.

    Handwriting improves with more practice...

  25. It is learned. If you want to make your handwriting more effective, you can make by practice.

  26. hi,

my answer is NO,handwriting is not genetic,it depend on how we practice. You can try now also.Don't concentrate on your writing speed

    first,try to write letters slowly.

To make a child to write in a better handwriting it should not start by writing alphabets, make it to write what comes to its mind, then suggest it to draw picture of simple things like flower, bat, tree.

it help the child very much.

  27. in my opinion its not genetic or instinctive rather it depends on how we practice..i mean it is learned

  28. Deonna et al(1997) described an 11 year

old girl who had severe hand writing difficulties as well as walking problems.

This girl was diagnosed as having childhood dystonia.  Nakamura et al(1997) have

described a similar scenario for Progressive supranuclear palsy.  Friedrich et

al(1996) have reported on a boy who suffered from benign hereditary chorea who

again, amonst several other problems of muscle movement, showed poor handwriting

    skills.we can possibly

infer from these cases that a whole spectrum of inherited conditions will exist

which are much less severe in the extent of loss of muscle control and therefore

    perhaps a deterioration in handwriting.

  29. Nope I dont think so, what about the parents who never went to school? I dont write like either of my parents.......course I have the best handwriting in the world.....haha

  30. I would definately say it's learned. My handwritings nothing like either of my parents. I'm glad it's not genetic, well in my family anyway, as my dads handwriting is illegible, it's like a scribble!

  31. sumtimes!

but nt every time!...very rare...to be genetically transfered

bt handling the particular stationary ie. pen or pencil.....nd writing may be same ie genetically transfered!..or different...not necessery also..

    cant say specifically!!
