Is harvest moon fun?

im probably getting a new DS game today and

everyone says its fun,like what is the game about

and what do you do on it,lol likee what is the point of the game?

i LOVE animal crossing,isnt it sorta like that.

p.s im getting the harvest moon cute or somthing like that,so my character is thee girl.

It's a game where you start a farm rasing animals and tending to crops. You can make friends with the residents, and get married to a bachelor/ bachelorette. The animals you usually raise are cattle, sheep, goats, horses, and chickens. Crops include tomatoes, turnips, melons, yams,  carrots, etc;. The new Harvest Moon game in stores right now is Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility. In this game you can raise cattle, horses, sheep, goats, ostriches, duckes, and chickens. And there are wild animals that you can tame to become your pets such as dogs, cats, a squirrel, panda, bear cub, weasel, and so on.

I love Animal Crossing too! I think this game is just as fun! :)
