Is having a Baby's mama common?

Question

I posted a question a few days ago and I put up pictures of me and my son and his mother...

His mother and I are not together and haven't been for a few years.

a lot of people assumed that she was my wife or fiance, and the lead me to believe that maybe its not as common for my situation to occur for people my age (21)

Is it common or not as much as it used to be?

baby's mama? yes, i think they are common, as it is impossible to create a baby without a mother.

yeep....i dont have one though...and dont plan on it...the only women gonna have my kids will be my future wife....a baby mama is another word for a single mother..so why make a women raise a kid by herself

I respect you for that, its good to see you're sacrificing you're youth to be there for you're son. It's not often that you see a young 21 yr old guy making his child his number one priority.

my brother had a child at 21.  he's now 26.  he's not with the baby's mama anymore.  thank god!  she's a wack job.

Unfortunately its all too common.  But it is very refreshing to hear from guys like you who are taking an active role their child's life and take responsibility.  Unfortunately, too many men leave the woman to raise the child alone.  A child needs both parents in their lives whether they are together or not.  Good luck and God bless.

I think it's still common but a lot more guys are seeing their kids like you. A lot more kids are at least knowing of their father instead of how it used to be where most kids never even remember meeting or seeing their father or worst not even knowing who is their father is.

good question.......i think it's getting more common..so many people have kids at young ages, or had s*x with someone who wasn't right for them.

i just think the people had the wrong idea when seeing the pic
