  1. go see a doctor. you dont wanna wait to late to go.

  2. Only a doctor can tell. Black stool is caused by bleeding up further in the intestinal tract. Red blood is from close to the end, like hemorrhoids. Black stools can mean blood from stomach ulcers, duodenal ulcers or higher in the colon. Sometimes it is not seen in the stool, and is detected by tests. This is called "occult blood" (It has nothing to do with the Occult!)

It can be cancer or ulcers, or other conditions. Regardless, you have to find out. Even a bleeding stomach ulcer can kill you or be a sign of stomach cancer (rarely) But any GI  bleeding can cause anemia and then weaken you immune system.

  3. Do you take Iron supplements?  This is the most likely cause of black stools, however, if worried, i'd check with your doctor to be on the safe side.

  4. It's a sign of blood in your stool, which could be caused by any number of things...from ulcers to cancer.  Go see your doctor.
