if u have them in your house no, if they are in your person (pockets, car within reach of u, in ur fist) it is a grade a misdemeanor for which the max time is one year in jail and as a minimum of 80 hours of community service + a one year parole whith random drug tests every 3 months or so but thats only if ur record gets expunged and ur case gets deferred. at least in TX may be worse in other places.

In most countries, the possession, let alone use, of brass knuckles is illegal.  

Brass knuckles can normally be purchased at swap meets and some sword and weapon shops as novelties, but whether or not they are actually used as novelties is open to debate. Due to a shady reputation they are often sold as paperweights or affixed with a detachable s***w allowing them to be sold as a belt buckle. I have a few pairs myself as well as a few other weapons, but they only stay at home for show only. So knock yourself out. (just a figure of speech...don't really knock yourself unconscious)
