Sometimes I think existing parents secretly just want you to suffer like them (i.e. being tired, stressed, worried about money, etc.).

  1. Parenting isn't easy, but having my 2 boys has brought me so much joy.  Joy is not happiness ... it's the pride you feel when they've done well, it's the change in behavior when you've instructed them, it's the comfort only you can give them when they got made fun of at school, it's the satisfaction you feel when you look in on them and they're sleeping after a full day of activities.  Yes there's stress, and frustration, but I would wish for every person who has a "little bit child likeness"  in them to have the privilege to raise a child.

  2. Let me tell you that me having my son was the best thing that I could have done for myself.  he has taught me how to love more than just myself.  They way he looks at me and the way he needs me, makes any materialistic issue worth it.

  3. i think it depends on the person. I cant wait till my baby boy is born!

  4. Having children is the greatest joy and love a person can experience- "once they are ready for it"

Some people don't have kids and thats OK its a personal choice.

God knows! if you don't end up having kids there is plenty of other people making babies

  5. I cant wait to have my kid- no matter how tired-stressed-financial issues I have. She'll be my blessing to this world.

I dont think I can suffer knowing that Im letting my genes live on-though a gorgeous daughter that I know will be here shortly.

  6. Eh, I think that parents probably have more personal issues to worry about then whether or not people who choose not to have kids are suffering.

I don't have kids personally, but my sister has a 2 year old daughter and she told me that having her baby was the best thing that ever happened to her.

  7. Cute question; yes we all want the childless to suffer as we do!!

Kids are stressful, expensive, and exhausting yes; but also the most fulfilling and important thing I will ever do in my life.  My children inspire me to be a better woman.  And the fun we have.  Like when my son scored his first goal in soccer; or when my youngest touched an earthworm for the first time!  Oh the face he made was priceless!! Or when my oldest was really little and he glued his hands to his pants with craft glue...that was hilarious.  ( it was only the white craft glue ).

YES kids are really "that" great!!!!

  8. Grow up and realize how lucky you have it. You're obviously spoiled.

  9. having kids changes your life.

Yes it is alot of work, it takes patience, there's plenty of stress involved.... but it's very rewarding as well.

It's not for some people though...

Once you have children, you have to stop being a slacker, you have REAL responsiblity, you have to put all of your selfishness aside...and for some that's just not possible.

  10. being the parent of two teens, i've never envied ppl who don't have kids. i've just always wondered why they don't. and no, i never "secretly" want you to suffer.

  11. omg

parents dont want to have kids to make them suffer, ok? thats just life for EVERYONE. gawd, you are twisted.

  12. havin a kid you feel everything! one minute its great one minute its annoying and so on but one thing that always remain is that you love ur baby!!!so thats what makes it worth it!!

  13. having kids are great...but they are hard work.....you should definitly wait till u are out of the parting stage and stuff before having kids ...
