Is having a small dint in a bmx bike rim a problem?

Well i hopped up a ledge and ****** it bad and popped my tire and also made a minor small dint in one side of my rim, i have had the tube fixed and there doesnt seem to have a problem with it but can it lead to any other problem that will happen later?

turn your bike upside down and spin the wheel. if it seems to be spinning straight, the dent didnt affect if. but if its spinning crooked, you might want to havve it repaired.
