Is having a world band radio going to be useful in Israel?..will i be able to listen to lots of stations?..?

Such as uk and dutch stations OR is it going to be much fuss only to find out the reception of non AM\FM channels is flawed?..

  1. I would expect that a world band radio was just another name for a short wave receiver.  As such, it will receive any station from anywhere in the world at any location.  Depending on atmospheric conditions, you may or may not get a good signal.  Country should not be a problem but politics may decide whether you can have such a radio or not.  If it is an expensive unit, check with the Israeli consulate nearest to you before you leave.
