Not if you don't have friends and loved ones to share it with. Loneliness is loneliness, no matter how much you have. And then on another matter, if you have more of something negative, then it would be the opposite of merry.

actually, I can hardly think of anything that we can have it in huge quantity that will not bring any bad consequences in a way or another

be content of what you have... for you came naked into this world and naked ye will die. have you ever heared of somone who took something after he/she died? Godliness with contentment is of great gain but people who want to get rich pierce themselves with sorrows and troubles... as long as you have Jesus in your heart, you're not only merry... but also blessed.

Well, it depends on what it is. Like if someone has money, they are merry. If they have more, they are merrier.

But if someone has a balloon, they may be merry.

But then again, if they have more, they just might float away ;)

And remember, even if the "The more the Merrier" rule IS applied, there is (a lot of the time) a negative outcome, a bad outcome, or a not so good outcome.

It depends on the circumstance.  With good times,with family and friends then of course yes.  But when times are not going so well I would appreciate less of those times.

It depends on what you have more.

I have more bad luck that other people, so it doesn't make me merrier.
