  1. No doubt in it

  2. No.

Success is a balance of all our attributes.

  3. sometimes people with too much  confidence come off a bit  to cocky or arrogant. in other words, too much confidence and you run the risk of alienating others. if this happens,  one might say, less is more. just my thoughts.

  4. i have a classmate who's over confident... she's confident that she's smart. she sings in front though she really got no voice.... but she is not happy as what i've observed,. maybe because shecannot satisfy her own with that confidence she has...

those two you mentioned, they're no good at all. do what's moderate... not too much, not too little... know where to set every limitation.....

  5. If we had no confidence, no one would do anything. We kind of learn that some stuff is stupid by trying it then failing. I mean, think about it, we wouldn't know that you could drown in water if some person hadn't jumped in and drowned to prove it. We also wouldn't have learned how to not drown in water if someone hadn't been overconfident enough to go in the water after some guy before him drowned trying. We wouldn't be able to do anything if someone hadn't been overconfident enough to try it first. Don't get me wrong, overconfident people annoy me just as much as any one else, but life would be waaaaay worse if those overconfident people had no cofidence what so ever. At least, that's what I think.

  6. I would rather have an abundance of confidence, than none at all.

  7. Yes.  Either extreme is bad, and um, ceteris paribus, the opposite of 'too much confidence' is not 'no confidence'.  It's 'not enough confidence'.  So... no confidence is more extreme and therefore worse.

  8. one is as bad as the other.

  9. both are bad situations. with lack of confidence, you are weary of the entirety of the problem at hand. with over confidence, you dont see the issue as well. it is like working with a dangerous machine, or driving. you can enjoy what you are doing, and you can get carried away, thinking that you know what you are doing, and cant mess up. if you have ever had a car accident (that was your fault) you know that if you take for granted the car, you can mess up. the perfect harmony of things like that is to know what you are doing, but to be weary of it as well. we suceed in the things we do by knowing our limits, and our boundaries. if you push too far, you fall over. if you push it enough to just get it moving, you have time to step back, so you dont fall. in other words, trial and error, until you learn your limits, and when to push a little harder.

    I hope i helped!!!

  10. Yes it is.  Things might not turn out better than having too little, but it sure feels better.

  11. Having too much is definitely better than not having any, but not by much. Confidence is our only way to get through life sane, but being narcissistic is asking for problems
