  7. i instantly think of a boy but it would make a nice unusual girls name.

  8. Male

  9. It can be either one here in the USA. I work in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and we see both genders named Hayden.

  11. It's a boys name. I know a man called Haydn.

  12. Sounds like boy to me

  13. It's both, a bit like Taylor...

  14. Boys!!

  15. The boy's name Hayden is pronounced HAY-den.

It is of Old English origin, and its meaning is "hedged valley".

Hayden has 4 variant forms: Haden, Haydan, Haydn and Haydon.

  16. boy

  17. It's popular for both

In 2007 it was #195 for girls

In 2007 it was #71 for boys

  18. I have never heard of a girl called Hayden, my cousin is called Hayden and he's a boy plus he has another boy called this in his class at school.

  19. You can choose any name you want for your baby, but every Hayden I've ever met has been a boy.  My sons name is Jayden and I have heard Kayden for a boy lots too.

  20. I'd say it's better suited to girls but i'm guessing its a unisex name?

  21. Its a boys name,

  22. I think its a boys

  23. A boys name 100%. Just because someone else has the name of the opposite gender (the actress in Heroes) doesn't make it automatically unisex. If that were the case, I've known a girl named Edward...then the world should consider that name unisex, or does it only count if she's famous??? Puh-lease.

When I see girl's with boy names...I automatically think "they must've REALLY been disappointed in having a girl."
