  1. All HDTVs suffer when watching sports (fast motion) versus the older style CRT TVs. It's just that some HDTVs suffer more than others. You will find that the plasma and DLP HDTVs give you the best and fastest motion of the HDTVs. LCD HDTVs give you the worst motion. As an example, a plasma TV rates out at 900 equivalent lines of vertical resolution with full motion. A typical LCD TV rates out at between 45-250 vertical lines with the best motion compensation models producing no more than 450 vertical lines of resolution. So much for your 1080p!


  2. Yes the image is so sharp its like you're right there on the field watching the game.

  3. Oh god, yes.  I can't stand to try to watch a game that isn't broadcast in HD.  It's almost unwatchable since being spoiled.

  4. There is absolutely no comparison for football, baseball or hockey. I can't do standard definition sports any more.
