Is he just quirky or does he like me?

Question

There's a guy that I like and he does a few things that make me question whether he likes me or not.

like a few months ago, i was sitting with my friend and he was walking 3 times past the school hallway i was sitting, it looked so goofy because he looked like he didn't do anything because it was so quick haha.

then every time he sees me in the hallways, he smiles and does a short glance at me and then look away as soon as i notice.

then when he walks up to me and say hi, he ask if i am going to hit him, (because i used to have a poor way of showing him that i like him) since he always expect it, i just hit him in a teasing way

then just yesterday i caught him looking at me, and he looked away quickly and then slowly looked back at me and smiled, of course, i smiled back.

Is he a playful friend or is he interested in me?

Since you like him and it's not illegal for a female to ask a male out do that. Ask him out. It sounds like he would accept.

i totally agree w/ smitty. i was exactly like that and never ended up gathering up the courage to do anything about it.  he may never initiate a a real conversation let alone a date, so u may need to ask him. i no that seems weird but if u like him, why not?

p.s. if ur thinking of waiting for him to make the first move just realize that it took me over 2 years to realize that i was just wasting my precious time being shy and i finally found the girl of my dreams. (i got over my other crush) so u may not want to waste time : )

He likes you but is just shy and doesn't know how to express himself around you. I am kinda the same way. Take it from me he likes you.
