Is he just too quiet?

i met this guy last week on saturday. i approched him and go his number. we hung out twice and everytime we do he is a little quiet. he always tells me that when i want to hang out to text him which confuses me because idk if he's not intrested or shy. he talks a little when he was around his friends but when i spoke to his friend instead of being active in the conversation he was off thinking and speaking with his friend when i stopped talking which is understandable because i have know his friend longer than him. when i try to text him like conversation wisehe texts a little but the conversation doesn't go on for that long and when we hang i do most of the talking but he told me he likes to listen. is he intrested or is it just a personality trait???/

defiently quiet. i'd say kep up with what your doing. keep his friends around so he feels comfortable, try to talk abou thingsyou have in common or things that might interest both of you. when i meet guys like that i always let them know that im laid back an everythings cool, if you wanna break the ice tring playing silly lil games like 20 questions or tell jokes.

its harder for some people to socailize with ppl there interested in.

I think it just depends on the person. I mean if he has twenty or more friends, I wouldn't think he's shy. If less than that then he could be shy. It also maybe that he likes you, so he does not talk to prevent himself from saying something stupid or odd. It could also be that he is not use to talking to people, or having conversations with people. Try asking open ended questions such as "what type of movies, foods, games, sports,music, and hobbies do you like". If all else fails you could just simply ask him if he is interested.

That used to describe me, he is just very shy, and the reason he doesn't talk alot is because he has probally never been in that situation and doesnt know what to say or he is just boring...

Its a personality trait, just keep talking to him, sooner or later he will open up too you.
