Is he lying?? What do you think?

Question

Ok two years ago before he left for something for two years and he came back......a week before he left I gave him a hug and kissed him on the cheek and pulled away. His face turned beet red his smile was enormous and his blue eyes were now black. He stood there for several seconds, body pointed towards me and he was staring at my shoes.

A day before he left we hugged and I turned to look at him. He turned and all I could see was his lips. He was so close to my lips I could have easily touched it! I got scared and froze and spaced out and he lingered for several seconds and then he jerked away.

Feeling bad I called him and he said he doesn't like kisses. Is he lying?

Anyway is it alright if I ask him if he doesn't like kisses? to make sure he was telling the truth? Because if he does like them I'd like to kiss him again....Suggestions? We're in our mid to late 20s he's 5yrs older than me. We're both single

maybe he just has intimacy problems. maybe you had bad breathe. maybe he got cold feet. but one thing is for sure no man doesn't like kissing. g*y or not.

I might be that he wants to kiss the right person for him. Not so much that he doesn't like to kiss it's just he wants the right person.

He could have also turned red because he did not want to tell you he did not like you like that.. Seriously if he is not that into you then let him go and find a new man.. You can always ask him but it really sounds like you are setting yourself up for disaster.

Maybe he's really shy and/or nervous, maybe he's never kissed a girl before, maybe he's afraid he'll disappoint you, maybe he just doesn't know what to do!!

he seems to trapped in his own self-image of being too modest.He definitely is lying- he needs to experience a kiss and then you should ask him..am sure the truth will come out at the kissing time only..

if he says he doesn't like kissing maybe he doesn't like kissing, it may sound weird but in truth and in  fact some people don't like kissing.

Or if you don't believe him ask a reason, and has he ever done it?

maybe he did it wrong the last time, so you might be able to teach him the right way.  good luck

I think maybe it was just an awkward moment. Maybe he got scared when you froze. Who knows.

Don't ask him about it though. Just try to get together and see if it happens again.
