Is he no longer interested?

Question

I've gone on four dates with this guy. He's seemed very interested and I've been interested in him. He talks about future dates we can go on and he text messages me often, saying how amazing I am, etc. He texted me earlier today asking what I was doing. I responded and he has yet to answer back. It's been a few hours and he usually answers quickly. Is he no longer interested or do you think something came up?

txting is probably one of the worst things created by man lol. I wouldn't read too much into how often he's txting or how fast. I have an ex gf that txts me half a year after we were together.I don't give it much meaning because a txt is just a really short and emotionless way of communicating. Even if you say something sweet which I've done in txt it really doesn't take much effort.

Something probably just came up I don't think he'd just stop getting interested like that hes most likely busy i thought the same with a girl before but it just turned out she fell asleep.

Could be any of several things.  Maybe he didn't get your last text, or his battery went dead, or he's been busy with something and hasn't had a chance to respond yet.  Try just sending something simple like a smiley face or something and see if he responds to that.  If he does, may indicate he never got your previous message.  But at least that will get conversation started again so you can ask what happened.

Don't think too much on it. He could be doing anything right now. I know it sucks. I know exactly how you feel, but it's college. What do you expect? A perfect man?

If I was the guy and I wasn't interested, your question would read like this:

"I've gone on one date with the guy".

I dont dilly dally around.

I think he's interested.
