Is he overreacting or am I just being selfish?

So I just started dating this guy at school and I really like him, but there's one thing he does that drives me crazy. When we first got here there were three guys that were attracted to me, one of which is now my current boyfriend. The other two told me they liked me both before and after I started dating my boyfriend. Now, neither of the two guys is the type to steal a girl away from her boyfriend, and I'm not the type to cheat. But every single time I try to hang out (as friends) with the other two boys, my boyfriend tells me I can't hang out with them alone. He gets upset over the fact that I want to be friends with them, and wont let me hang out with them by myself. He always wants there to be another friend around. Is he overreacting in this situation, or am I the one who isn't seeing where he's coming from?

  1. you should be prepared to be angry if he is spending alone time with another.  I agree that this a forum about marriage and divorce not single and dating.

  2. Respect your b/f wishes . he wants you all to himself!

  3. Put yourself in his shoes for a moment.  If you knew that there was two girls that liked him, would you want him hanging out with them alone?

Part of being in a relationship is having respect for how the other person feels, even if you know that you would never cheat.

  4. Not sure this question is in the right category. This is marriage and divorce.

  5. He wants to keep you to himself and doesn't trust you to be strong enough to say no when you're being hit on.

  6. He does not trust you one bit around anyione alone....get it? If it is a man. Dump time./

  7. You really can't see where he is coming from? If you know some guys like you you should not hang out with them alone if at all, that is only asking for trouble or even rumors of trouble that will make you look bad and you will have no one to blame but yourself.
