Is he scared? what should i do?

I am married for 17 years but i dont sleep with my husband for more than 10. We are just like a friends who bringing up our son,and don't divorce because of him.I don't love my husband but i respect him. We even sleep in a different bedrooms for very long time. Recently i have met a guy i like very much and he likes me. We was dating for a few months but everything was just like a friendship.We was going out to a nice places we were kissing but didn't have s*x.He knows everything about my situation and he is asking me to divorce,so i promised him.He never has been married and we both are late 30s.A few times i tried to ask him what kind of relation we have and his answer was we are friends who enjoy spending time together.Then i am confuse because he ask me to divorce but he define our relation like friendship.I don't know why he is acting like and dont make any moves . I am so confused what should I do, so please help me.

He definitely wants a more intimate relationship from you, but he doesn't want to force you into by declaring that you are "boyfriend-girlfriend" while you are still married.  For right now, you are just "friends who enjoy spending time together", but once you are divorced and therefore available, then you can become something more.  He's trying to respect your current relationship, so that your future relationship with him will be respected the same way.

It's up to you what you want to do, but you should be honest with your husband.  If you have gotten along well so far, then you can probably have an amicable divorce, and continue to share your son while you each pursue a more fulfilling romantic relationship elsewhere.

i think he only wants u 2 get devorced 2 make it easier 4himself... dnt devorce unless he proposes 2 u... lol

It could be he is an old-fasahioned gentleman, not wanting to 'use' yoiu whilst you are still married.

You alone can make the decision, though.
