Is he weird or is it just me?

My friend introduced me to one of his friends because he is in one of my classes. For the two days of the class in this week this person sat next to me in that class, which is fine and we didn't really talk that much. However, in the five minute break, he was asking me something that I didn't know the answer and he went,"Oh you're so cute" and started patting my head kind kind of stroking his hand in my hair. Thought that was awkward and yet he did that a few more times touching my hair more and pokes me a lot.Couple times in class he would ask if I were and wanted to use his jacket. Don't know if there was any meaning to that but I refused.

  5. uhm yah he sounds a little weird.  But he probably likes you and doesn't really know how to act around a girl that he likes and also doesn't know that when he does that it can be vary awkward.  Just be nice to him and eventually tell him to please stop doing all of that.

    The poor guy just might a crush on you but has a complete lack of social skills.  Just be firm about telling him not to touch you, and don't say it all "cutsie like" otherwise you'll be flirting back.

Sometimes guys do silly things to get attention.  My uncle while riding his bike to drivers training ran completely into a fence while trying to introduce himself to my aunt.  A couple stitches and a very awkward moment they have been married for 40 years.  Guys that like you sometimes get really nervous.  If you like this guy try to give him a chance, the awkwardness will subside and then you can get to know each other.

    first let me tell you this is a guy responding. It sounds like he is already trying to asert himself as the "dominant" part of what little relationship there is. The hard question followed by the patting and "aren't you cute" were masked critisizm. Just my opinion but I would get to know him a little better and maybe ask around and see if there is someone else he has dated.

    If you are interested in taking it to the next step ask people who know him or know of him and see what they think. You might be surprised how honest friends can be.  

  11. Lol....wow guys can have very strange and odd ways of trying to "attract" a girl, don't worry about it too much, but just kind of stay away from him, because thats kind of creepy no offense, or get one of your friends to ask him if he likes you. ;D

    The guy you're mentioning however, I think is doing it because he might feel for you. I couldn't tell you if he was or wasn't though, because I don't know him.

  23. He is just socially stunted... awkward.  Whatever you want to call it.

    My guess, is that he likes you and is trying to find a way to be close to you, connect with you and, sigh, touch you.  It is just coming off as weird... because it is.  Awkward is called awkward for a reason right.  It is like when you were little and a boy would hit you when he liked you.  It is that guy, plus a few years who has not figured out to connect with the ladies.

    Hopefully he will figure it out.  Poor guy.  Poor you...
