i used mintop (conatianing minoxidil solution) for controlling hair fall for nearly 3-4 months and stopped using it all of a sudden. and i developed a kind of headache nearly a week or ten days after i stopped using the medicine. the headache is rarely severe, some times it makes my head feel heavy without pain, and the makes the place near medulla oblongata grow little stiff at times.. the headache has been there for 2months... i consulted a doctor who asked to go in for a blood test and sinus x-ray. but it was not sinus. so is it bec of the sudden withdrawal os the medicine. and doctor has suggested Flunarin. I GOT THIS SYMPTOM(HEADACHE) ONLY AFTER I STOPPED USING MINTOP. until i was using there was no problem... pl give ur opinion.

  1. It is highly unlikely this is a side effect of stopping this medication
