  1. Probably, because a lot of rules and structures are similar.

Also some of the roots/stems are the same between Arabic and Hebrew.

There are some consonants which don't exist in Arabic (p, b, v) but the rest of the do.

  2. it should b ,they're both sematic languages

hebrew and arabic have many words that r very similar

some syllables in hebrew don't exist in arabic though..

so it moght b a challange for arabic speakers..

    good luck anyways :)

  3. I am a native Arabic speaker and I am in my second year of Hebrew. I took a couple of Arabic classes for easy A's, but good lord! Hebrew is so much easier! The roots and structure of the words in Hebrew are very similar, if not exact, for the most part. Conjugation, way easier than Arabic. The letters you read in are different than the letters you write in, but both are relatively easy to learn. I learned both sets overnight, depends on how much interest you have in the language.

I would not recommend you learn it online, much better to take a class or something. But if you want to get started on learning the letters, here is a really good website that includes audio:

Overall, Hebrew is a great language to take, especially if you are a native speaker in Arabic. It's basically the equivalent of a native English speaker taking Spanish, we're always like "That's like English". Sometimes, you can take English words and add Spanish rules to it and it really is the way it's said in Spanish. Quite the same with Arabic and Hebrew, once you know the pronunciation differences, and which sounds substitute which in each language, it becomes pretty easy to guess =P

Well, hope that helped! Let me know if you have other questions =]

Oh, and if you decide to take Hebrew and have anything you want to ask, go ahead and email me!
