I've just hit the 14th week & would really like to color my hair but I know the chemical hair dyes are not healthy, so Im opting for henna hair coloring instead.

Is henna safe to use at this time & how long do the color usually last ?

Thank you.

  1. its like semi-perm color. so it only last  a couple weeks

  2. henna is a permanent dye on the hair and is safe to use when pregnant.

I get mine here and it is very good , no sand, no twigs, great color.

    I love it.http://www.hennacaravan.com/shop/hair.ht...

  3. Almost all hair dyes now a days are safe to use in pregnancy and have no affect on the baby what so ever.  It is the fumes that are harmful, so as long as you are in a well ventilated area (outside is best) then you can use pretty much any kind of hair dye.

  4. I was about 5 months pregnant when I went a colored my hair...Came out great! I talked to my doctor about it and she said as long as you have good ventilation your fine...my baby is 4 1/2 months old now and she is fine!!!

  5. I think dying your hair is okay in any form but the only reason people usually don't dye there hair is b/c your hormones take over and your hair probably wont come out the same color you wanted it to...good luck!
