Is heterosexual anal s*x legal in England?

Question

Scotland and Northern Ireland have both made consensual heterosexual s*x legal, but somebody told me that it is still illegal in England. I've fought my way through several law web sites but the latest mention of it being illegal I could find dealt with the law in the 70s. In that law even married couples were commiting an offence if they indulged.

I just can't seem to find any reference to any change in the law allowing it in England.
