Is high school ROTC class worth taking if you are not going into the military?

I had signed up for ROTC which is a military class in high school. I am not planning on going into the military though. I am only taking it so i dont have to go to boring P.E. Is taking ROTC worth it though. The teacher is hillarious, but the students are nerdy-like. WHAT SHOULD I DO???

Well at my school if you take ROTC you end up haveing to wear this really stupid uniform every wednesday. So if you don't mind looking like a complete r****d take it.
