It depends on the school and who u hang around with. I was pretty much an average person, no one talked about or picked on. I was never bullied. But then again I never saw anyone in my school get bullied. Their are fight between the tough kids, but thats pretty much it.

Not if you are confident, and stay true to yourself. I know it sounds corny, but if you don't let yourself be influenced by everyone else too much and are the leader of a group then you will be fine. The most important thing that I have discovered as a sophmore in highschool is that being popular doesn't matter. I have 4 best friends that are really true friends and I am really really happy. Also, get involved and meet lots of people so you will always have people to turn to. Good Luck!

High school is a different experience for everyone. If you are confident with yourself, you should be okay. It is hard because at that age, you are worried about a lot of things. If it is any consolation, high school is really just a stepping stone for college (or entering the working force, etc.) which is a really great time because people are less concerned about the little things (acne, your weight, boys, girls, etc.) and accept people a lot more than high school kids do.

It depends on the high school you go to. It also depends on what groups and/or activities you're involved with. Theatre kept me so happy and busy that I didn't have any drama or bad experiences. However, some people find it more difficult. I hope you don't! :)

I don't think so..At least i hope not I'm going into h.s this year and personally I'm not going to let anyone intimidate or phase me. I plan on making my four years the best they can be! I hope you can to.

No, it's really not. They make it seem bad in books and TV because it makes for good copy. No one acts like that, and if they do, they watch WAYYY too many after school specials.

Yes. American public high school is horrible. I'm sorry but it was for me.

Everyone has a click to be in, girls are nasty, S****y and rude and spread rumors and the guys (most) just want in your pants. I'm so glad to be out now. It was basically 4 years of h**l determined by how little you weighed, the cost of the clothes you wore, the sports you were in and how fake you could act. Good Luck! Be true to yourself and make friends early on. I was out most of my freshman & sophomore years due to a disease and missed out on making friends quickly.

OMG no it is so much fun get involved in sports,asb, and yearbook. You will make loads of new friends and have great classes. But you have to look at it with an open mind because it isn't all great
