Is high school cross country right for me?

im in the 9th grade and the cross country coach wants me to join..im not that fast but she says i could do well..i only kinda wanna do it to stay in shape for basketball....should i join the team

  1. Yes, join the team. You may not be fast now, but after you train for a while you will get better. This will help give you a edge in basketball because you will have more endurance and you won't get tired as easily as the others. Good Luck! I am sure you will do great!

    however i don't think you'll like the summer training that comes before the cross country season

  5. You should join it. I know alot of people who were like... hmmm.... cross country? and joined it and LOVED it. You don't necessarily have to be fast, but you might be surprised and find out it's more important to you than basketball
