Is high school really some of the best years of your life?

I'm in high school, and since I'm going back to school really soon I was just wondering if anyone would like to comment about this.

i am 54 yrs old the best yrs for me were mid 20s being 21 and out on your own is great

Its really whatever you make of it. I guess my freshman year was okay. I dont know it just seems like at my school they are only the best years of your life if your extremely popular which im not. i go to a really high end school where at lot of the kids are rich, which im not lol. and if you arent what they want you to look like then they try and make your life a living h**l. Anything you do can get you made fun of. I mean im not like a loser and some of the kids are nice but id say i preferd junior high over highschool. but i still have three more years to go so who knows :]

I would hate to think that I peaked in high school.  It was sorta fun, I guess, but life just gets better and better when you live in the moment and learn to focus on the half-full portion of the glass.

Now I'm at the stage where I say "if I only knew then what I know now" ...

I'm starting grade 12. But so far I can say it has been the best years of my life. I'm not really popular. That doesn't affect my happiness. I have great friends who I care about, and we have fun. As opposed to my elementary school where there were 30 kids in my grade, I now have 600. There are so many people with the same interests as you. Just find them. They might not end up being the best years of my life, but they are pretty great.

It's whatever you make of it. So really it's your personal decision whether high school years are your best or worst.

The decisions you make in high school can ultimately affect the way you see it. Have fun in the present don't worry about the future. What happens in the future will happen you can't change that. Make your High school experience what you want it to be.

for me it was. My high school years were so dramatic but I learned a lot. I had tons of fun my senior year. I'm in my sophomore year of college and i miss high school sometimes. it was a great learning experience while having a lot of fun.
