no, ville valo the lead singer said in interviews that they aren't. And most of the songs are about love. ville valo grew up catholic. He said he's not really sure if there is a god but he's not against it if there is. Heartagram they use as the bands logo he made up and says its a heart for love and a pentegram for hate, he says its supposed to be a type of ying and yag meaning. But bottom line is, no HIM is not a satanic band.
