Is hippie/go green in right now?

Is hippie and go green-save the world in style right now??

If so... why?

Ive seen heaps of people wearing hippie clothes and jewelry latley.

What have hippies got to do with enviromentalism? No hippies are not in style, that like a fashion fad anyway. 'Going green' as lifestyle choice is however becoming increasingly popular.

Why? Well pressure groups have helped a lot to get enviromentalism into the mainstream, but also enviromental damage is becoming increasingly obvious.

It's because of the changes our earth is having. Not really a fad, well, at least I hope not. :P

Hippies (basically, without the drugs) just want peace and happiness. Our world isn't really the happiest thing nowadays. If you have problem with that, well, then so be it. :(

Don't know about hip- But sure feels good not spending so much mula on gas, clothing, and food. Plus it does make it all warm and happy when one recycles :)
