  1. As you have said ''society'', it is something mostly cultural.

  2. NO its Not acceptable At all IN islam ! To touch a Female whos not Ur wife and Dance ! But U will See Many Muslim Um married COuples Not only HOlding Hands But also Kissing Hugging and cuddling All the time ON Tubes Busses Streets Pubs and Clubs !

  3. It depends on the muslim country. Some are really strict and others such as turkey allow it.

  4. No it is not. If the boy is going to marry the girl..then that would be ok if the girl's parents know what's going on between them. (this is what I think)

  5. NO...it's definitely unacceptable

  6. NO WAYS.... YO HAVE TO BE MARRIED WEATHER U LIKE IT OR NOT

  7. Not acceptable as relationship between boys and girls (who are not married to each other) is forbidden in Islam, as it can lead to s*x before marriage and thus, leading to more social problems.

However, there are some Muslim societies that happens to 'close their eyes' and ignore when their younger generation hold hands or dancing, etc. But they are minorities and they have been influenced by the Western culture.

Im sorry to say that in my country (somewhere in S.E Asia), although most people who live here are Muslims, there are still unmarried couples holding hands, hugging and even kissing. But not all of Muslims are like that. Some still follow the real Islamic teachings.
