  2. "Homosexuality" is a state of being, not an act.  Only specific acts can be outlawed.  There are some homosexual acts which are prohibited by law in some states (such as taking a "wide stance," if you know what I mean).

  3. Not that I know of but sodomy is.

  4.   some states  still have sodomy laws on the books . federal law makes them weak because homosexuality is legal under privacy laws in federal courts .

  5. it is not against the law in any state. Marrying the same s*x is against the law in some states

  6. not that i know of

  7. Laws that made s*x between consenting adults of the same s*x illegal were struck down by the Supreme Court of the United States as a violation of the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution in 2003.

In 1986 a man was arrested in Georgia for engaging in a private consensual sexual act with another man in his own home, and the Supreme Court agreed that it was against the law. In 2003, the Supreme Court reversed that decision and said that their 1986 ruling "was not correct when it was decided, is not correct today, and is hereby overruled."

  8. no, its also not spelled with any dashes

the supreme court officially declared sodomy laws unconstitutional a few years back, and g*y marriages aren't illlegal in any state but they are only legally recognized in two, though several other states recognize other types of same gender union

  9. Homosexuality is illegal practically nowhere. That is different from homosexual acts which are a different matter. There may be a small number of localities in the US that forbid sodomy but it is al most never enforced.
