  1. it,s not allow  nothing go pass security they don,t know what you could hide in it  and it there ruled sorry

  2. Well, I've traveled on planes with homemade food. It was in my carry-on luggage in  a ziplock bag. It went through the x-ray machine, and they didn't say anything. I guess it depends on the people that are monitering the machines you put your bags through.

Just don't forget and try to bring fruit from overseas. I accidentally did that once. Oops.

  3. I've gotten through with homemade snacks.  I brought simple things, like pbj sandwiches, cookies, chips, fruit...of course I had to wait til I got through tsa to purchase a beverage.

  4. yes sum times

  5. if it's not in you're carry on and it is completely sealed in a ziploc baggy or what not

  6. nope. that won't be allowed. sorry to break the news. For security reasons.  Here is an extreme example but this is pretty much why:

If you bring homemade food you could've easily baked explosives into it and blow up the plane.

PLUS there are trade laws with certain items where they won't let you bring things like veggies meat etc. between different countries to prevent the spread of disease.

  7. Yes, you can bring food, but some food items are subject to inspection, such as fruits and meats and may be taken away from you at the security check.

I have brought sandwiches and apples with me on international flights and they have always been allowed through.

Just beware that some food items are prohibited to bring with you if you are going to certain countries, so throw them away before going through customs at your destination to avoid having to pay a fee.
