  1. I don't know on what grounds a homeschooling co-op would be illegal anywhere, but I can't say for sure, some states have odd laws. I did find many groups in Ohio, so I assume it would be legal.

Here is a link to a page explaining homeschooling laws in Ohio:

    http://www.hslda.org/laws/default.asp?St...

and here are some sites I found with listed homeschooling groups/co-ops in Ohio:

    http://www.h-i-o.org/index.php

    http://homeschooling.gomilpitas.com/regi...

    http://www.home-school.com/groups/OH.htm...

    I hope these help!

  2. I believe home school is legal everywhere you just have to make sure whatever school you go threw is accredited other wise you will have nothing to show for it .

The mostly goes for if it is for high school . Other wise it just your job to make sure they know what they need to know so that they can pass there high school courses.

    Some accredited high schools

Try looking in to Pen Foster EDU they are on of the only schools that send you book but also have everything online for quick and easy correspondence.

I do not recommend American Correspondence though they are one of the most challenging home schools and do have a collage prep course they LOSE EVERYTHING .. including grades ....
