  1. It depends on whether you purchase a pre-planned curriculum or not.  Even that can be fairly reasonable though.  Its been a few years since I was a homeschooler, but there are generally not any state or local fees involved.

    You might want to see if there is a dual enrollment program with a local community college.  That way you can be "homeschooled" but take your classes at the college and get both college and high school credit for them.  That is what I did and it was great.  The state pays for all you classes and books (since you are a "high schooler".  I had a college degree by the time I was 17 this way.  Also, the classes are a lot more fun and you make your own schedule.


  2. I would do a cyber charter school (k12), they're really nice & you don't have to buy any of the supplies except for ink, but you get 3 free cartridges so...

    i love it.

    im currently enroled in crescent preparatory high school, which is based in florida.

    and my sister is enroled in laurel springs high school, which is based in california.

  5. No, there are no specific requirements in your state, so basically if you wanted to you could just spend every day in the library reading up on all the subjects you are interested in or do all your research on the internet.
