  1. yes. u can just walk in the streets and it wont be such a big deal. even straight people were supporting  g**s in the pride parade.

  2. We Canadian tolerate just about anything .

  3. I think so. More so in larger cities, less so in small towns.

  4. Yes, probably, although there are areas of Canada that are homophobic.  It is not just homosexuality that is more tolerated, but Canada has true freedom of religion and freedom of political belief.  Different cultures are encouraged (hence multiculturalism) and this results in more respect for others' beliefs and less racism.   People in Canada generally don't care about the private lives of others.

  5. Because they actually abide but the separation of state and church.

  6. More tolerated than what/where? While same-s*x marriage is legal across Canada, I feel like tolerance of homosexuality remains limited to the country's urban areas. You would be hard pressed to find open, out of the closet g**s and lesbians in the country's more rural communities.

  7. Just ask the over 1 million people that turned out for the Pride parade this weekend in Toronto.

Canadians have a more accepting attitude.  We tend to not persecute people.

  8. Yes it is... even straight people walk in the parades for support... why waste your energy fighting something that you cant controll
